California Doctors Support ACA

Researchers at UCLA found that about 59% primary care and specialty physicians in California support the Affordable Care Act, and 61% believe the law will either help their practice or have no effect on it. The survey of 525 doctors, conducted online in mid-2014, was just published in the peer-reviewed journal Family Medicine.

Most primary care doctors report that the Affordable Care Act has caused no change in their ability to provide quality care, although like the general population their opinions about the ACA are about evenly split. Among the public at large, 44% favor it and 41% do not (the remainder declined to state their views.).
