When it comes to telemedicine and telehealth, the CHRONIC Care Act of 2017 will put a number of new provisions into action, including (but not limited to) the following: Increase the cap on the total number of participating beneficiaries from 10,000 to 15,000. Avizia was acquired by American Well in July of 2018.
