A new AMR Innovation Programme launched at Global Health today (30 October), opened by Professor Steve Field, UK Special Healthcare Representative to Saudi Arabia. AMR is accelerated by inappropriate use of antimicrobial drugs, poor infection prevention and control practices, and a lack of new antimicrobial drugs being developed.
