The next item on the HIE Future is Bright list is movement from "Multiple Point-to-Point Connections" to "Single Connection to Hub". Again, I will state that I was not at the WISHIN meeting , so I don't know what they said about this. Both use IHE XCPD and XCA standard CommonWell -- a EHR vendor consortium.

Here goes: the front-loading of the DSRIP program caused dollars to go to PPS sponsors for setting up the program and for checking boxes (literally – “we had a meeting with so-and-so”) to satisfy reporting requirements and subsequent payments.
