New codes from the AMA could mean more RPM reimbursement by 2025

Medicare was the first to cover RPM. Numerous commercial payers also cover RPM, sometimes within their telehealth coverage policies. Providers soon may be able to bill for much more remote patient monitoring. If AMA makes these changes to RPM codes, coverage changes would most likely go into effect in 2025 or later.
