Some telehealth flexibilities that were allowed under the PHE are also staying in effect, at least until the end of 2024. They include a report that says the US could see a deficit of 200,000 to 450,000 registered nurses by 2025. CVS also closed a deal in the first half of 2023 to acquire Oak Street Health for over $10 billion.
