Those pens would do two things to modernize American health care for both patients and doctors: first, Congress would pass the CONNECT for Health Act (HR 4189. S 2016) and second, re-introduce and sign the Telehealth Modernization Act. Plainly put, we have 20 th Century laws governing 21 st century health care delivery.

For several years, I’ve called out telecom connections as a social determinant: for example, in this Huffington Post column written in July 2016, I asserted that broadband is a social determinant of health. where this research found Britons’ mental health improved through socializing via creative activities of all sorts.
