The truth is that an EHR by definition serves multiple masters, satisfying some more than others. It can serve every user from the patient to the receptionist to nurses, doctors, counselors, billers, and the CFO. For many clinicians, EHRs have actually been a disservice, a major factor in burnout. It still holds true.

Gearing up for Immunizations

As an aside, I definitely enjoyed Pfizer’s bump from 90% to 95% efficacy after Moderna’s announcement …yay for capitalism? Functionally, this type of tool is called an immunization registry , and, luckily for us, it has existed for decades. I don’t think we need to spill any more ink on that topic, but I, for one, am pumped.
