Smartphone adoption among older people grew by 50% since 2014, rising from 48% adoption among people 50+ to 79%. About four in 10 people 50+ are interested in “purchasing” (the word used in the AARP survey) several digital health innovations: Communicating with a health care provider that you’ve taken a medication as prescribed.
