FHIR: An open standard for exchanging health data. 2004: The HL7 FHIR standard is released. 2010: The CareDash platform is launched. Telehealth applications: Open source telehealth applications, such as VSee and Jitsi Meet, are being used by some NHS trusts to provide remote medical care.
