Goggleminds has been named the winner in the revenue generating category of this year’s Digital Health Rewired Pitchfest 2024.

The live final took place on the Best Practice Showcase Stage on the floor of Rewired at the NEC in Birmingham. Goggleminds provides a training platform to help healthcare professionals.

Goggleminds will now be offered access to expert advice from the CW Innovation team – a collaboration between Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and its partner charity CW+, with the potential of having their solution rolled out at the trust.

Azize Naji, founder and CEO of Goggleminds, conducted the live pitch in front of the judges and Rewired audience, and was delighted to emerge as the winner.

“Thank you very much… I didn’t expect it,” he said. “This recognition is a huge step forward for us.”

After a hard-fought set of virtual heats, 25 start-ups were whittled down to 12, with six competing in today’s revenue generating final and six in tomorrow’s pre-revenue generating final.

The other revenue generating finalists who competed today were: Bulbitech ASBingliHealthy.io, Kidney BeamMedwise AI.

Two of these companies, despite not claiming the top prize, were highly commended by the judges.

Chris Chaney, chief executive of CW+ and co-lead of CW Innovation, praised Medwise AI, describing the way they have built their company as “exceptional”. He also described Healthy.io as “really inspiring” and wished good luck to all of the other finalists.

Chaney was one of three judges at the revenue generating live final. He was joined by Megan Morys-Carter, director of digital innovation at Oxford University Hospitals, and Sara Nelson, programme director at DigitalHealth.London.

The pre-revenue generating final takes place at 2pm tomorrow on the Best Practice Showcase Stage.

CW+ is joined by Pitchfest partners digitalhealth.london, Health Innovation Network, Innovate UK, Health Foundry and main sponsor PR agency Silver Buck.
