Direct-to-consumer virtual care company Hims & Hers announced a partnership with Delaware-based health system ChristianaCare.

San Francisco-based Hims & Hers offers treatment for hair loss, mental health, sexual health, dermatology and primary care. As part of the deal, Hims & Hers medical providers will be able to connect patients with ChristianaCare's Center for Virtual Health and in-person specialty and primary care when necessary.

The deal will apply to customers in select Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey counties.

Hims & Hers' in-person partnerships now include providers in 10 states and Washington, D.C.

"ChristianaCare is thrilled to partner with Hims & Hers to make high-quality healthcare available to its customers who have complex needs or need additional services that Hims & Hers does not provide," Sharon Anderson, ChristianaCare's chief virtual health officer and president of its Center for Virtual Health, said in a statement.

THE LARGER TREND

Hims & Hers signed a deal with hybrid care provider Carbon Health in March to provide its California-based clientele with a brick-and-mortar care option.

The company has also established partnerships with New Orleans-based not-for-profit Oschner Health; New York-based Mount Sinai Health System; and Privia in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Texas, Georgia and Virginia.

Earlier this month, HIMSS & HERS reported third-quarter revenue of $144.8 million, up 95% from $74.2 million in the same period in 2021. The virtual care company logged a third-quarter net loss of $18.8 million, compared with a loss of $15.9 million in the year-earlier period.
