Anne Wellington has been appointed as the new managing director of the Cedars-Sinai Accelerator, a 90-day, health-tech-focused program that offers mentoring and financial support to its participants. Wellington had previously served as entrepreneur-in-residence for the accelerator’s third class, and held the chief product officer position at healthcare analytics company Stanson Health.

"As more health systems follow Cedars-Sinai's lead in fostering innovation through accelerators, we will be growing to expand our leadership role in this space," Darren Dworkin, senior vice president and chief information officer at Cedars-Sinai, said in a statement. Blink Health, which makes an app and online tool for helping consumers find low prices on medications, has brought Susan Lang on as its new chief strategy officer. Lang most recently founded the healthcare consulting firm XIL Consulting, and prior to that served six years as SVP and chief supply chain officer at Express Scripts.

Lumeon, maker of a care pathway management platform, has appointed John Freeman as its chief financial officer. The company’s first US executive hire, Freeman’s 23 years of experience most recently placed him at Tonneson + co., where he advised growing companies on accounting and taxation.

Digital health and wellness company GlobalFit announced that its current chief human resources officer and SVP of administration, Karen Heisler, has been elected to the company’s board. In addition to these positions at GlobalFit, Heisler also serves on the Bryn Mawr Hospital Foundation Board and Governance Committee.
