Health 2.0, a HIMSS subsidiary, is seeking startup applicants for two upcoming events in its VentureConnect series: a Startup Showcase on the sidelines of the JP Morgan Healthcare Conference in San Francisco and a Startup Pitch Competition at the HIMSS20 Global Conference in Orlando.

Both of these opportunities afford startups a chance to present their decks in front of an audience of potential investors and even potential early customers.

In San Francisco on January 13th, the Startup Showcase is not a competition, but it is a chance for 12 to 15 digital health startups to present to a cultivated audience of more than 300 investors. The showcase and reception following, are designed to encourage innovative collaborations and partnerships between entrepreneurs and investors.

Applications for the Startup Showcase close December 5th, 2019. Interested entrepreneurs can start their applications here.

Then on March 11 at HIMSS20 in Orlando, startups will have the opportunity to compete for a prize in a Startup Pitch Competition. The competition will cap off a one-day program that also features panels with a diverse group of investment leaders from across healthcare, as well as industry experts and rising startups. Details of the prize have not been finalized.

Applications for the Pitch Competition close on January 8th, 2020. Those interested in participating can start their applications here.
