China’s one-stop healthcare ecosystem platform, Ping An Good Doctor announced a strategic cooperation with China Everbright Bank on July 2. Both parties will tap on their respective business advantages to create financial application scenarios for healthcare services, and work together to build up a new ecosystem of “Healthcare + Finance”.

The Private Doctor service, which was launched within the Ping An Good Doctor app last month, will be incorporated into Everbright Mobile Banking under the cooperation. Through the integration of the Private Doctor, Everbright Bank can provide its clients with professional financial services as well as diversified medical and healthcare services, to enhance the value-added service experience and increase user stickiness.

Through the fusion of business scenarios from both sides, Ping An Good Doctor and Everbright Bank will be able to provide users with well-targeted financial products and services.

THE LARGER TREND

Ping An Good Doctor is not resting on its laurels after announcing that it has reached 265 million users in 2018, and continues its outreach through partnerships with other companies. In May 2019, it partnered with Wyeth Nutrition to bring one-stop nutrition and healthcare solutions and a new "active and healthy lifestyle" concept to the 12 million members of Wyeth Mom Club. 

Last month, the company launched its Private Doctor service, which appoints dedicated doctors to conduct one-on-one consultations with clients. Ping An Good Doctor also announced a strategic partnership with Chinese insurance company PKU Founder Life to “explore combining medical & health and insurance scenarios”.
