Whether you’re new to telehealth and telemedicine or have been utilizing telehealth for a while, the current COVID19 pandemic has flipped this type of healthcare service delivery on its head much like so many other facets of our professional and personal worlds.

Currently, policy is fluid. Bandwidths are burdened. Knowledge is a whirlwind. Where does one begin to match the constantly changing information to appropriately serve the client, to the constant evolution of what we know of the current pandemic?

In an effort to mitigate this information, the South Central Telehealth Resource Center (SCTRC) created a resource page.  Click HERE to visit our Telehealth Assistance for Providers site. Technology. Research. Specialties. Virtual Consults. We’ve gathered as many resources available to us and have policy information as it pertains to each state in the SCTRC region: Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

Are you just starting out? Check out the “Introduction to Telehealth” section.  Here, you can also sign up for our weekly webinars (Telehealth 101 and Telehealth Roundup).

Other Telehealth Resource Centers (TRCs) have created similar sites in response to the coronavirus outbreak in order to meet the needs of their clients as well. If you’re not in the SCTRC region, it might be beneficial for you to find your local TRC and check their telehealth assistance pages (listed below). Click on the TRC links to go to pages pertaining to COVID19 resources:

  1. Pacific Basin TRC (HI and Pacific Basin)
  2. Northwest Regional TRC (WA, OR, ID, WY, MT, UT)
  3. California TRC (CA)
  4. Southwest TRC (NV, AZ, NM, CO, UT)
  5. TexLa TRC (TX, LA)
  6. Heartland TRC (KS, MO, OK)
  7. Great Plains TRAC (ND, SD, NE, IA, MN, WI)
  8. Upper Midwest TRC (IL, IN, OH, MI)
  9. Southeastern TRC (AL, GA, SC, FL)
  10. Mid-Atlantic TRC (KY, WV, PA, VA, NC, DE, MD, NJ)
  11. Northeast TRC (NY, VT, ME, NH, MA, CT, RI, NJ, DC)

We also encourage everyone to check out the Center for Connected Health Policy as well as the Telehealth Technology Assessment Center (our two national TRCs) to view pertinent information as it pertains to the developing pandemic.
