By 2020, IU Health had launched on-demand virtual psychiatry assessments in the ED and a virtual peer recovery program, going live in 14 hospitals in less than 100 days. telemedicine hubs at two locations for patients needing mental health and addiction therapy. Similarly, peer recovery coaches were only available at two hospitals.
