Perficient Colleagues Spread Holiday Cheer at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital

Perficient Light Up Glennon 2021

Collectively and individually, Perficient and our colleagues are passionate about giving back to our communities. Just last year, we formalized our commitment to giving back by forming a philanthropy-based employee resource group (ERG) – Perficient’S Giving ERG. During the recent holiday season, Perficient and our St. Louis colleagues captured the giving spirit by bringing song, light, and joy to the brave and inspiring patients at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.

Each year, Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital hosts their “Tree of Hope” campaign, a year-end fundraising drive focused on funding important programs that are not always covered by insurance.

A marquee event during the annual campaign is Light Up Glennon, an event inviting the St. Louis community to gather at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital to shine flashlights towards the hospital, sing carols, raise spirits, and spread holiday cheer with patients. Perficient and our colleagues were proud to return as a primary sponsor of the Light Up Glennon event to bring hope and happiness to those who need it most.

“What better way to help people and be a part of a great community than to be at the light up event here at Cardinal Glennon Hospital? It’s truly amazing, and it’s a great way to get involved and make positive change around the holiday season,” said Garrett Hill, senior marketing coordinator.

Perficient’s colleagues are generous and committed to giving back to our communities where we live and work. The annual Light Up Glennon event has turned into an end-of-year treat for Perficient’s St. Louis colleagues and their families alike.

“I just love that Perficient gives us this opportunity to spread joy and hope to our broader communities. It’s such a heart-warming event, and we come almost every year. It’s become a family tradition for us,” said Kristin Brashares, senior marketing manager.

In addition to bringing song, light, and joy to the patients of Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, Perficient donated $10,000 to the Tree of Hope campaign, helping the initiative meet their goal of raising $1 million.

Perficient and our colleagues know that small acts of kindness can make all the difference for someone – especially sick and injured children. With the holiday season and new year in full swing, Perficient donated hundreds of teddy bears to spread cheer and comfort with the patients of both Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and St. Luke’s Hospital.
