- The 2024 Best in KLAS have been named. For the U.S. market, covered in the Software and Services report, KLAS recognized 136 software products across 8 categories. The Global Software report recognized regional leaders in acute care EHR and PACS.
- ONC and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) are launching a $20 million Behavioral Health Information Technology Initiative to improve IT adoption in psychiatry and behavioral health.
- In other ONC news, the effective date for the HTI-1 final rule is now March 11, or 60 days from the rule’s January 9 publication in the Federal Register.
- The latest analysis from Epic Research found most GLP-1 medications are correlated with lower likelihood of anxiety and depression, which are common side effects of the GLP-1 Wegovy (semaglutide).

- CliniComp updated its EHR solution suite to offer software, hardware, and services at a fixed price.
- Lindus Health launched a unified technology, site services and contract research organization services package for digital therapeutics and digital health trials.
- Life sciences data vendor H1 released GenosAI Pro, which brings conversational AI to feasibility planning and trial design.
- Following a 2023 merger, Virgin Pulse and HealthComp unveiled a new company brand, Personify Health.

- 64 FQHCs in 7 states chose Medical Home Network as their care coordination service provider as they participate in ACO REACH and MSSP.
- New Hampshire-based Dartmouth Health is continuing its partnership with Conifer Health Solutions for RCM services.
- eClinicalWorks announced Texas-based Kellum Medical Group is adopting Sunoh.ai and Texas-based Blue Bonnet Family Medicine Health and Wellness Clinic is using PRISMA.
- Upstate New York’s University of Rochester Medical Center chose Higi and DexCare as the technology partners for its initiative to install telehealth stations in local bank branches.

- The Health Transformation Alliance named EY US as its member of the year (for helping HTA develop its Advanced Primary Care solution) and Foot Locker as its innovator of the year (for cutting specialty drug spending by 20%).
- MIXiii Health-Tech.IL, an annual conference for Israel Advanced Technology Industries, is going ahead as scheduled March 5-6 in Jerusalem. Virtual registrations are also available.

- Health and wellbeing benefits manager Soda Health appointed Casey Bartolucci as Chief Commercial Officer.
- Ambient AI assistant Nabla appointed Dr. Ed Lee as Chief Medical Officer.
- Health information network Availity appointed Jennifer Irwin as Chief Marketing Officer.
