Here’s a description of the position:

The Marketing Content Writer will be primarily responsible for content creation, helping us to bring social posts, case studies, eBooks, blog posts, white papers, video scripts, and articles to our audiences. The Marketing Content Writer will also help develop and enhance our Brand Voice that we use throughout our Marketing, Sales, and internal communication efforts.

The Marketing Content Writer will have access to employees throughout the organization and select client contacts to help produce the highest quality content. This role will report to the Marketing Manager and work collaboratively with other members of the marketing team in the U.S., India, and the Philippines to align brand messaging in each market, while also nuancing for cultural differences.
As needed, this role will also be expected to assist with editing/reviewing RFPs or other non-marketing content tasks.

** Key Responsibilities
Generating engaging omnichannel content across our verticals and business
Reviewing and editing existing content across organization
Brainstorming new content ideas to promote and grow our brand and revenue
Interviewing thought leaders at Genzeon and our clients on relevant topics
Engaging with content analytics to inform future effort

**Education and Professional Experience:

*Required:
Bachelor’s degree or other four-year degree, preferably in journalism, writing, or similar field.
4+ years’ experience writing professionally, with a strong emphasis in healthcare and IT audiences.
Published and referenceable work outside of a company blog or social post (i.e. white paper, byline, etc.)

*Proficient In:
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize workloads
Ability to transfer knowledge to staff with different backgrounds, educational experiences and learning styles
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Excellent telephone and customer service skills
Strong knowledge of MS Office products
Various writing standards (AP, MLA, Chicago/CMOS)

**WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Willingness to occasionally work outside of normal business hours as required to complete projects
Remote work, with infrequent travel for company-wide or departmental meetings
Use standard office equipment
