Lawrence L. Weed, M.D., a pioneer in the world of health informatics and organization of patient information, has died at the age of 93. Weed passed away in Burlington, Vermont, on June 3 after a fall two weeks earlier, his son Lincoln said. We have had a problem where a person had a apostrophe in their name, and it caused failures. This because in the API (string based API), a person name is quoted using single quote. yet if it includes a quote, that terminates the string early. oops.
