Lessons from the Queen

Happy Friday everyone.  We usually do our regular Fun Friday article where we share something to make you smile as you head into the weekend.  This week we thought we’d mix it up a bit and share some lessons learned from Queen Elizabeth who sadly passed away this week.  We don’t like to get political here, so save that for other forums.  However, it’s worth recognizing someone who served her nation for a long time.  That’s impressive by any measure.   Hopefully some of these will inspire you as you head into the weekend.

This is impressive to see the evolution of the Queen. It’s hard for me to even process that it goes back to 1935. That’s a long time ago. It’s before our current EHRs started (that was a joke).

I love this thought. At Healthcare IT Today, this is our goal. We want to lift up the best and most impactful technology. We’ll leave the hate and destruction to someone else.

I agree that she represented all of those things. Although, I’m not sure I agree that it’s the end of an era. I see many in healthcare that still exhibit these qualities.

Is there anything better than seeing someone experience pure joy. This is just lovely to see and a reminder to all of us to find joyful moments in our lives as hectic as they may be.

This was a fun little twist. I advocate for more humor in all our lives.

What a great lesson of love, loyalty, and devotion. I appreciate these in my life.

Was she happy to be serving or serving to be happy?

I’m sure there are thousands more we could do. Thanks Queen Elizabeth for these important reminders.
