RPM Platform Learnings from UK Being Brought to the US

One of the most interesting people I met at the HIMSS 2022 conference this year was João Bocas.  If you’re on Twitter, then you’ve probably seen him tweeting from his account @WearablesExpert where he shares great digital health content.  One thing I love about Bocas is that he brings a great international perspective to the conversation since he lives in Europe.

We sat down with João Bocas, CEO at Digital Salutem, to learn more about this unique perspective and to learn more about his efforts to bring a new RPM platform to the US.  In the interview below, Bocas talks about this new platform which has seen success in the UK and is now available in the US.  He highlights why communication is key to success with an RPM platform.

Bocas also shares about the fragmented market that exists in the US and how that impacts the care that’s provided.  We also ask him what he sees happening with wearables in healthcare.  He describes us as being in the adoption phase.
