It’s a massive undertaking to write a health IT book. Of course, leave it to Prashant Natarajan, VP of Strategy and Products at H2O.ai, to author not just one, but two very popular healthcare big data, machine learning, and AI book. Readers of the site will likely be familiar with his best selling book “Demystifying Big Data and Machine Learning for Healthcare.” Now, Natarajan has published a second book called “Demystifying AI for the Enterprise.”
We wanted to give readers of Healthcare IT Today a preview of this new book since AI has become so important in healthcare. In the video below, Natarajan shares a quick overview of what you can expect in the book. Plus, we dive into the idea of imagination and the somewhat surprising role it plays in AI.
Natarajan also shares a look at the various AI maturity stages an organization goes through as they work to adopt AI. He defines what each stage looks like and what a symbiotic organization looks like when it comes to AI. Finally, we ask him why he says in the book “When investing in AI, think of people first, not technology first.”
If you want to get a look into AI from someone who’s literally written the book on it, you’ll enjoy our interview with Prashant Natarajan.
