Ren Ci Nursing Homes in Singapore to implement 3D wound management app in 2019

Created in response to the challenge of wound management in the community care sector in Singapore, the CARES4WOUNDS wound management application was developed and pilot-tested with 25 patients at Ren Ci Hospital and Tetsuyu Healthcare since November 2017, with good initial results. The hospital is the first in the Intermediate and Long Care (ILTC) services sector to deploy such a 3D wound management system.

Athenahealth sold to Elliott Management and Veritas Capital for $5.7B, plans to merge with Virence Health

Elliott Management, which previously offered to buy Athenahealth for $160 a share, is teaming up with Veritas Capital to buy the EHR vendor for $5.7 billion, or $135 per share. The new owners are planning to combine the cloud-based EHR with Virence Health, which Veritas acquired from GE Healthcare earlier this year.
