Medical device cybersecurity software company MedCrypt announced today that it has raised $1.9 million in new seed funding. The round’s primary backer was Eniac Ventures, with additional participation from Sway Ventures, Nex Cubed, Oronoco Investments, and Friedman BioVentures. Mike Kijewski, CEO and cofounder of MedCrypt, told MobiHealthNews that his company will be using the proceeds from this round to scale implementation of its security software into its customer’s devices.
