How Well Do You Know Yourself and the Team You Work With? – #HITsm Chat Topic

We’re excited to share the topic and questions for this week’s #HITsm chat happening Friday, 5/20 at Noon ET (9 AM PT).  This week’s chat will be hosted by Dalton Patterson (@MrDollyPat) from @CorroHealth on the topic “How well do you know yourself and the team you work with?

At the recent #HITMC Conference in Boston, MA, I had the opportunity to partner up with my colleague Greg Goodale from CorroHealth for a speaking session titled: “We Don’t Know It All – Achieving Balance of Independence and Interdependence in Healthcare Marketing”. We had a BLAST conducting an interactive survey in person at the start to the session and then deep dove into some of the stats. During the chat this week we want to repurpose the same survey for some self-reflecting and discussion around past, present, and future projects.

If you want to get a jump on the survey before the #HITSM chat this coming Friday, visit www.corrohealth.com/HITMC. The survey should only take you 3-5 minutes and you will be able to see the cumulative results of members from both the #HITMC and #HITsm communities.

This type of activity and conversation is important because there are many times where our team sizes are fixed. Corporate, consultancy, agency, or otherwise, we will never be able to “do it all”. Sometimes transparency and authenticity are the best tool to opening new conversations and partnerships, so come ready to discuss personal successes, lessons learned from failures in the field, and areas where partnership or delegation might just make the most sense.

Join us for this week’s #HITsm chat where we’ll be discussing the following topics.

Topics for this week’s #HITsm Chat:

T1: Have you filled out the survey for today’s session? If not, visit www.corrohealth.com/HITMC to complete the survey and have the results handy for discussion. #HITsm

T2: What characteristic in the survey results that stood out the most? #HITsm

T3: To play off of T2, how does that survey result reflect how you work with your team? #HITsm

T4: What are your strongest/weakest characteristics mentioned? #HITsm

T5: What is one project you should have done yourself, or should have delegated? #HITsm

Bonus: What is the most impactful tool, contractor, or agency you have used to transition a project from “good” to “GREAT”? #HITsm
