But Oracle has taken a big step in the industry by acquiring Cerner Corporation for $28 billion. According to Reuters, Oracle will acquire all Cerner's shares through an all-cash tender offer at $95 per share; this is approximately $28 billion in equity value.

HHS puts $48M toward rural public health IT, workforce expansion
