We’re excited to share the topic and questions for this week’s #HITsm chat happening Friday, 7/2 at Noon ET (9 AM PT). This week’s chat will be hosted by Dalton Patterson (@MrDollyPat) from @CorroHealth on the topic “HIT Tech Enablement and Staffing.”
In recent months there has been an obvious uptick in autonomous solutions, AI, and tech enablement. Digitized solutions provide obvious benefits from easing the burden that is on our documentation staff, revenue cycle management staff, nurses, clinicians, physicians, etc., but now we are experiencing a deficit in people to reinforce the tech-driven processes.
Recruitment has been hard for many in our industry over the last 6 months. Scams and catfishing are on the rise, hiring perks are competitive, and it seems that some may be slow to jump back into full time employment after furloughs, layoffs, and overall personal impact due to COVID-19. This doesn’t bode well for our industry when the need for professionals is plentiful.
