The Connected Health Initiative, in conjunction with the Duke AI Health, will be hosting AI and the Future of Digital Healthcare, an afternoon featuring four consecutive panels followed by an evening cocktail reception. These panels will feature artificial intelligence (AI) and digital health policymakers, providers, and technology innovators coming together to share insights on current health AI deployments and policy trends as well as recommendations on the pathway forward. This exclusive in-person event will be hosted in Washington, DC, at the National Press Club.

CONFIRMED KEYNOTE SPEAKER:  Representative Gregory F. Murphy, MD

Rep. Gregory F. Murphy, M.D. is serving his third term in Congress, representing North Carolina’s Third Congressional District. The district covers much of Eastern North Carolina including New Bern, Jacksonville, Washington, and the Outer Banks. He serves on the House Ways and Means Committee as well as the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee and the Committee on House Administration. He Co-Chairs the House GOP Doctors Caucus. Rep. Murphy graduated magna cum laude from Davidson College and with honors from the University of North Carolina’s School of Medicine. He is the only practicing surgeon in Congress today.
