Spring Health IT Conference Review – Healthcare IT Today Podcast Episode 114

For the 114th episode of the Healthcare IT Podcast, we are reviewing the Health IT Conferences we’ve had this spring! First we discuss the technology trends that we’ve seen this far. Next we examine what were the hot topics of discussions from all of the conferences. Then we share what we thought was missing and/or lacking from the spring 2023 conferences. And to finish off this episode, we go into our impressions of all of the conferences so far from an event standpoint.

  • Glad to hear of this conference’s success and interesting to hear of your different perspectives.
    These conferences take great behind-the-scenes efforts to run well. One company that has run in-person conferences for several years that I attended is giving it up after this year because they can’t find workers who competently manage the work, etc.
    This is disappointing because it has been well-attended, we all value thought exchange, learning from each other and catching up with colleagues. If these larger healthcare conferences experience the same, I am wondering if they’d move into having attendee volunteers for discounted fees.
