As we prepare for the ViVE 2023 conferences next week, one of the things I am most looking forward to is seeing companies that can help healthcare organizations accelerate their digital efforts. There are going to be a lot of organizations talking about changes and others that are actually on the frontlines of implementing these changes.
One company I’m excited to see at ViVE 2023 is Divurgent. They have been going through a bit of a transformation themselves as they build on their legacy of tech consulting, implementation and go live to being able to help healthcare organizations accelerate their digital efforts, leverage data and analytics in their organization, and embracing digital transformation that does more with your current team and technology. Plus, I’m excited to see how things are going with Ed Marx now leading the organization as CEO.
One theme and topic we are likely to see talked about at ViVE is efforts to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion. There will be a Women @ ViVE Reception from 6-7:30 PM at the Music City Center which will likely be one of the most popular events at the show. Plus, I saw they have BLK @ ViVE and Latino @ ViVE events as well. Rebecca Woods, Founder of Bluebird Leaders, wrote this practical blog post with suggestions on how to be a great leader that supports women in healthcare IT that may be a great preface for some of the discussions that will happen at the event. I think this is a preview of the great conversations we will have at the conference.
Of course, the best part of any conference is meeting up at the evening events to connect with great people. I’ve always enjoyed the Divurgent parties I have attended since they bring a great mix of people to their events and some incredible healthcare CIOs. At ViVE, they are doing an event that is going to be a unique Nashville experience with live music by Nashville-based singer-songwriter Autumn Knight. She’ll perform her electropop hit single “Outline” and other songs from her latest album, “Here and Now.” Plus, Billboard-topping music producer, Austin Shaw will be making an appearance. The event is happening Monday, March 27th, from 7-10PM at Rare Bird. Be sure to RSVP if you’d like to attend. I’ll be there so be sure to say hi.
