Insights and Perspectives from ViVE 2022

As most of you know, we’ve been covering the ViVE 2022 conference this week in Miami.  On the list of healthcare IT conferences, ViVE (which is a combination of CHIME and HLTH) is one of the best produced healthcare IT conferences out there.  Going into the event, none of us doubted that it would be a well organized and memorable event.  The main question I had was how the more startup/investor culture of HLTH was going to mix with the CIO culture of CHIME.  We’ll be doing a survey in our healthcare marketing community to better understand the answer to that question, so be sure to subscribe there if you want to get the results.  Plus, be sure to check out Colin Hung’s piece on 5 Things Done Well at ViVE 2022 to get a feel for some of the novel aspects of ViVE.

Event logistics and experience aside, Healthcare IT Today was lucky to be able to hop on video with a wide variety of people at ViVE to hear their insights and perspectives.  Plus, we decided to try out a new short video format to capture the feeling of the event, get some quick insights, and to learn about some companies exhibiting there.

As part of this we also launched our first foray into Instagram and TikTok, so be sure to go and follow us there.  We’re also looking at sharing these short videos as YouTube Reels if you want to subscribe to us on YouTube.  You’ll want to be subscribed to see some other unique content we’ll be announcing and sharing soon.

Clearsense shared about building trust in health data.

Panda Health talked about hospital procurement of digital health technologies and how to streamline that process and discover the best-in-class digital health solutions.

Divurgent shared some of the trending topics at the show: innovation in healthcare, bringing together data, and a cohesive & digital experience for patients.

Truveta shared about the consortium of 20 health systems bringing together their health data.

AVIA talked about the imperative in healthcare for organizations to go digital and transform themselves versus just implementing another technology.
