I want us to be inclusive of "Mediated" exchange, "Directed" exchange, "Controlled" exchange, and "Negotiated" exchange. Mediated Exchange -- where the Patient themselves is an active part of the communication pathway. Data-Tagging? Modes of Communication I am not constraining the mode of healthcare data communication.

How data are tagged with specific kinds of sensitivity labels is the topic of my next article. There are data flows that are not supported by patient mediated exchange. Thus what was originally a normal lab result, should now be treated as a sensitive health condition. or "Deny all access." This is not wrong, but is not complete.
