Product Overview
Our software addresses various challenges with inbound documents to a healthcare provider, report distribution, radiology study viewing and sharing, procedure ordering and scheduling, workflows, and efficiency. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the full healthcare software suite that is comprised of a series of micro-services connected together. We are a LAMP based stack, utilizing Laravel, MySQL, JavaScript, and Vue.

Job Responsibilities:
The Interface Analyst will create, maintain, and monitor interfaces for the ScriptSender internal and external customer base.  You must be highly skilled in evaluating and interpreting detailed integration specifications, and able to establish connectivity between applications, sites, and systems.  Interfaces could be HL7, FHIR, XML, JSON, TCP, or API based.   In this role, you will communicate directly with customers, vendors, partners, and other interface resources to establish connectivity, and test.  Professionalism, attention to detail, and responsiveness, in both written and verbal communications is required.

The ideal candidate will be able to solve complex problems, provide recommendations, stay up to date on latest industry trends, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a natural problem solver.

Required Skills:

  • Expert Level Understanding of the HL7 standard message types. (ORM, ORU, ADT, SIU)
  • Expert level experience in Interface engines such as Mirth Connect, Cloverleaf, Corepoint, etc. (Certification preferred)
  • Skilled in one or more interface tool kits, such as HL7 Soup, HL7Inspector, 7Edit, SmartHL7, HAPI, etc.
  • Solid understanding of the FHIR standards.
  • Expert level API-based (HTTP) Interface Configuration
  • Basic networking including TCP/IP and Port based communications

Preferred Skills (will train upon hire):

  • Linux Command Line
  • Basic Database Administration (MYSQL, PostGres, etc.)
  • JavaScript
