I’ve seen a lot of CISOs complaining on Twitter lately about how vendors are approaching them. To be more specific, it’s largely salespeople reaching out in sometimes the most absurd ways. I get it that sales can be hard, but burning a bridge with a CISO is never a good strategy.
With this in mind, I couldn’t resist watching this video I found on LinkedIn titled “What _actually_ happens when CISOs get emails from vendors:” Check it out embedded below.
Don’t be that vendor. Be respectful of the CISO. Scare tactics don’t work. But they do make for a great Fun Friday video.
