Here’s a description of the position:

The Project Principal for Epic Projects is responsible for the successful delivery of large scale, highly complex Epic implementation projects associated with acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic projects.  The Project Principal works closely with senior-level sponsors and stakeholders to deliver projects within approved budget, on schedule, meeting quality standards for the organization; ensures the use of standardized project management methodologies, processes and tools; provides oversight and development opportunities to project resources and other operational support personnel and serves as the project management subject matter expert for Epic projects.

Minimum Requirements:
Ten (10) years of project management experience in a healthcare setting, or a combination of relevant experience demonstrating: strong operational leadership skills, healthcare knowledge and experience, and program management expertise leading complex organization-level initiatives
One (1) year of experience with small, medium, and large complex Epic implementations working within the EMR required

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field; Master’s preferred
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) required
Epic certification required
