A Look at Humanizing Healthcare and the Telehealth Landscape

Humanizing healthcare is a big vision that anyone who has been a patient can appreciate.  Far too often patients feel like cogs in the big machine that is healthcare.  While Humanizing Healthcare is a big vision, it’s exactly the vision that Jamey Edwards, CEO & Co-Founder at Cloudbreak Health, has set for his company.

To learn more about this vision and what Cloudbreak Health is doing about it, I sat down for an interview with Edwards.  Plus, it was a great chance for me to learn about how this vision was impacted by Cloudbreak Health’s recent announcement that they’ll be combining companies with UpHealth under a new NYSE ticker symbol “UPH.”

Along with discussing Humanizing Healthcare, we also had to get Edward’s perspective on the telehealth market and what they experienced at Cloudbreak Health when it comes to COVID-19 and telehealth.  Cloudbreak Health was in a really unique position to offer new products like telequarantine since they had so many devices with their software on it already in the hands of clinicians at healthcare organizations.

We also asked Edwards to look ahead and share where he thinks the telehealth market homeostatis will be and what an enterprise telehealth solution is going to look like for hospitals and health systems.
