Far too often we take things that are complicated and make them worse or we take things that are simple and make them complicated. I guess that’s why I loved this list of tech buzzwords that were simplified in a humorous way.
Tech buzzwords explained:
AI- bunch of IF statements
Blockchain- database
Cloud- Somebody else’s computer
IoT- Internet of Toasters
Big data: Slightly too tedious for MS Excel.
Data science: MS Access.
Algorithm: Probably something about terrorists.

The last 2 kind of fell flat for me, but the AI, Blockchain, and Cloud ones were great. I wonder if there some that could be applied to healthcare.
Patient Engagement – A way to get paid easier
Interoperability – Sharing data with my competitors
HCAPHS – Finally paying you for what you should be doing anyway
