Happy Thanksgiving!

For the last week I’ve been sharing gratitude on social media using the hashtag #GiveThanks.  It’s been a really wonderful experience.  Especially with everything that’s happening in the world with coronavirus.  I know I’ve certainly been at points where it was easy to get down and to not recognize all of the things I have to be grateful for in my life.  This daily effort to show gratitude has meant the world to me and change my perspective.  Hopefully that will be of benefit to you as readers and those around me.

What’s been fascinating about the sharing of gratitude though was how many people have connected with me as I’ve shared gratitude.  There’s a power in connection that is hard to describe.  I can’t tell you how grateful I am for those in the health IT community here at Healthcare IT Today and those in the HITMC healthcare marketing community who have stayed connected with me this week and throughout the pandemic.  We have so much to be grateful for in these communities.  I love that as I focus more on gratitude I feel an extra power to be able to help and lift others.  Thank you to each of you who does the same.  We’re grateful for each of you and your support.  Together we’re stronger.  Together we’re better.

I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving.  See you tomorrow for our regularly scheduled health IT content.
