Digital Leaders, the national initiative promoting digital transformation, leadership and innovation, will tomorrow announce the dates for the UK’s 4th Digital Leaders Week®.

The event, which is sponsored by Sage, the leader in cloud business management solutions, will see 25,000 leaders come together to share ideas about how to drive digital transformation forward in the UK’s businesses, government and charitable organisations.

More than 500 events will be held, including webinars and round tables, across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Over the week, businesses will look at best practice in the industry, have the chance to meet other organisations that can help them develop digital solutions, all while building their peer-to-peer networks.

The headline events include the Digital Leaders 100 Awards in Leeds, the Digital DNA Conference in Belfast, Tech4Good in Cardiff, Impact Awards in London, Young Digital Leaders in Manchester and a Local Government Innovation Marketplace event in Glasgow.

Russell Haworth, Chair of Digital Leaders said: “It’s important to have a National Week that helps all leaders deliver the digital transformation essential for a positive future for the UK economy and our public services. Digital leadership and how our leaders drive outcomes inside government, enterprise and the third sector, is an essential ingredient of UK success.”

Sabby Gill, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, UK and Ireland, Sage said: “Digital innovation provides companies with the opportunity to evolve and advance to the next level and can deliver a richer customer and colleague experience.

“Despite this, just half of SMEs use digital tools, which can help them save on average 27.6 days, worth £17,000, a year, in improved productivity.

“So, it’s more important than ever for business to come together, stand tall and help deliver transformation that will strengthen our economy and secure Britain’s future as a digital leader.”

Robin Knowles, CEO of Digital Leaders said “If you or your organisation is a leader in the UK’s digital marketplace, Digital Leaders Week® is your opportunity to showcase your ideas, initiatives and services. If you are still learning, it is your chance to connect with leaders in the digital age.” For more information go to http://digileaders.com/week
